As the year turned over on the shores of Phu Quoc, Studio Adventure brought together music, nature, and community for a New Year’s Eve festival set across multiple immersive stages. Elevate Design Co. was brought in to support the experience — designing and delivering performance-driven DJ setups tailored to each environment.
Designing for Atmosphere and Flow
Each stage at Studio Adventure carried its own identity. Rather than applying a single solution across the festival, the approach was to design with the environment — allowing the setup to enhance both the DJ’s performance and the audience’s experience.
For the Garden Stage, Elevate developed a custom DJ booth built from plywood using a modular, interlocking system. The structure was designed to feel grounded within the natural surroundings — clean, functional, and unobtrusive, while still giving the artist a strong, intentional workspace.
The modular build allowed for efficient transport, quick assembly, and adaptability on-site — essential for a festival environment where timing and flexibility matter.
Performance-Driven Setup
At the Bamboo Stage, the focus shifted toward lightweight, durable solutions that could integrate seamlessly with the raw, organic build of the space.
Elevate supplied mixer and CDJ stands made from upcycled plastic, bringing both sustainability and performance into the setup. The stands provided stability, ergonomic positioning, and a clean layout for artists, while aligning with the broader environmental ethos of the event.
The use of upcycled materials reflects an ongoing commitment: creating functional design solutions that reduce waste without compromising on quality or experience.
Built for the Moment
Festivals are temporary by nature, but the impact of a well-designed space lasts far beyond the event itself. At Studio Adventure, the combination of thoughtful stage design, natural surroundings, and high-energy performances created an environment where both artists and audience could fully engage.
Elevate’s role was to support that connection — through design that prioritises experience, performance, and output.
Looking Ahead
This project marks another step in expanding Elevate’s presence within live events and festival environments. From custom DJ booths to modular equipment systems, the focus remains the same: building adaptable, well-considered structures that elevate both the space and the people within it.
